Eevee

Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in the original Red and Blue games (Generation I). It is a small, mammalian creature with brown fur, large ears, and a fluffy tail. Eevee is notable for its unstable genetic structure, which allows it to evolve into several different forms under various conditions.

Across the Pokémon series, Eevee can evolve into eight different forms, known as Eeveelutions. Vaporeon (Water), Jolteon (Electric), and Flareon (Fire) were introduced early; Espeon (Psychic) and Umbreon (Dark) appeared in Generation II; Leafeon (Grass) and Glaceon (Ice) were added in Generation IV; Sylveon (Fairy) joined in Generation VI. The evolution methods vary by game: Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon typically use evolution stones (Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Fire Stone). Espeon and Umbreon evolve from Eevee when it has high friendship, during day or night respectively. Leafeon and Glaceon originally required proximity to Moss Rock or Ice Rock, with later games offering alternative methods. Sylveon evolves when Eevee has a Fairy-type move and sufficiently high friendship.

In battle, Eevee’s standard ability is Run Away, with a hidden ability Anticipation. Eevee is widely recognized as a versatile starting point for multiple evolutions, reflecting its role as a flexible platform for learning a wide range of moves and types.
