Eburones
The Eburones were a Belgic tribe living in the region that is now modern Belgium during the Roman period. They inhabited an area roughly corresponding to present-day central Belgium, particularly around the modern provinces of Limburg and Liège. The tribe's territory was situated near the Roman provinces of Gallia Belgica and Germania Inferior.
Historically, the Eburones are most noted for their resistance to Roman occupation during the 1st century AD.
