EUUmwelt

EUUmwelt is a hypothetical European Union administrative body created to illustrate centralized environmental governance within the EU. It would coordinate policy across member states, align rules with the European Green Deal, and harmonize environmental standards. It does not currently exist as a formal EU institution.

Its mandate would include setting binding environmental standards, allocating EU funding for environmental projects, monitoring compliance,

Policy areas would include air and water quality, waste management and the circular economy, biodiversity protection,

Structure and governance would typically feature an executive director, a council or board composed of member-state
