ERPPLM is an integrated approach that combines Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to align product data and processes from concept through design, manufacturing, and service. The goal is to create a seamless flow of information between engineering and operations so that product decisions reflect current manufacturing constraints and supply chain realities.

ERPPLM links product data management with operational execution. Core elements typically include bills of materials, engineering change orders, document control, supplier data, product configurations, item masters, routing, and shop floor instructions. The integration enables synchronized data across PLM and ERP systems, often using a centralized data model or master data management with bidirectional synchronization via middleware, APIs, or native connectors.
