Distribuáis

Distribuáis is a verb form from the Spanish verb distribuir. In standard modern Spanish, the typical second-person plural present subjunctive form is distribuyáis. The form distribuáis is generally considered nonstandard or a misspelling, since the orthography for verbs ending in -uir in the present subjunctive uses the y after the u, producing distribuyáis rather than distribuáis.

Etymology and morphology: distribuir comes from Latin distribuere, meaning to hand out, apportion, or allocate. Relation to other forms: Other common conjugations of distribuir include present indicative vosotros distribuís, present subjunctive vosotros distribuyáis, and third-person forms like distribuye (él/ella) or distribuyan (ellos). The form distribuáis should be avoided in formal writing in favor of distribuyáis when a present-subjunctive vosotros form is required.
