Diiselpartiklipuhastus, often referred to as DPF cleaning, is a process designed to remove accumulated soot and particulate matter from a diesel particulate filter. This filter is a crucial component in modern diesel engines, designed to reduce harmful emissions by trapping exhaust particles. Over time, these particles build up, leading to a clogged filter.

A clogged DPF can significantly impede engine performance, increase fuel consumption, and potentially cause severe engine damage. DPF cleaning aims to restore the filter's functionality and prevent these issues.
