Dervio

Dervio is a comune (municipality) in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, situated in the province of Lecco. It lies on the eastern shore of Lake Como, within the belt of lake towns that overlooks the lake’s eastern arm, and is bordered by other communities along the shoreline. The municipality includes several frazioni, among them Corenno Plinio, a hilltop medieval village.

Corenno Plinio is the most notable frazione, renowned for its preserved medieval character and the Castello di Corenno Plinio, a 14th-century fortress that remains a major landmark. The village features narrow lanes, stone houses, and a panorama over the lake, making it a popular destination for visitors.
