Deodorointierä

Deodorointierä, often translated as "deodorant stick" or "deodorant bar," is a solid form of underarm deodorant. It typically consists of a wax or solid oil base mixed with active ingredients designed to combat body odor. The solid consistency allows for easy application directly to the skin, where it melts slightly and transfers the product.

The primary function of deodorointierä is to mask or neutralize the smell of perspiration. This is achieved through various active ingredients, most commonly antiperspirants like aluminum compounds that temporarily block sweat ducts.
