Deluppgift

Deluppgift is a Swedish term used to describe a subquestion or subtask within a larger assignment or problem. It refers to a distinct part of an overall task that students or examinees must address, often with its own objective, data, and sometimes points. Deluppgifter are common in textbooks, problem sets, and exam papers, where the overall task is divided into manageable components.

In practice, deluppgifter are labeled separately, such as deluppgift 1, deluppgift 2, or a, b and so on. Each deluppgift typically builds on information or results from earlier parts, guiding the solver through a stepwise process. This structure enables partial credit in assessments and allows evaluators to judge understanding at different stages rather than only on the final answer.
