Deerling

Deerling is a quadrupedal Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is a Normal and Grass-type Pokémon known for its seasonal variations. Deerling's appearance changes significantly depending on the time of year it is encountered. In spring, it has green fur and a floral motif. Summer brings a reddish hue and brighter, leaf-like fur. Autumn colors its fur with orange and brown, resembling fallen leaves, and winter results in white fur and a snow-covered appearance.

Deerling are typically found in grassy areas and forests. They are gentle herbivores, feeding on grass and berries. Their changing coat colors serve as camouflage, helping them blend into their surroundings throughout the year. This adaptation allows them to evade predators and find sustenance more easily.

As Deerling evolves into Sawsbuck, it retains its Normal and Grass typing and its seasonal characteristics, though Sawsbuck's antlers also change with the seasons, becoming more prominent and elaborate in different times of the year. Deerling are known for their shy and timid nature, often fleeing from perceived threats. They are often seen in small herds.
