DeathHoly

DeathHoly is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed in 2001. The group's music is characterized by its fast tempo and chaotic, abrasive sound, often incorporating elements of black metal, thrash metal, and grindcore. DeathHoly's lyrics typically revolve around themes of death, violence, and the darker aspects of human nature.

The band's early work was released on a series of split EPs and singles, primarily through European underground metal labels. Their debut full-length album, "Infernal Scourge", was released in 2004, followed by "Scourge of Christianity" in 2007. Both albums received positive reviews from underground metal critics, praising the band's intense, unrelenting sound and raw energy.

Throughout their career, DeathHoly has undergone several lineup changes. Founding vocalist and guitarist Trond Nicolaisen remains the band's driving force, with a distinctive, screamed vocal style and razor-sharp guitar work. The group's live performances are known for their intensity and unpredictability, with chaotic shows often featuring audience members jumping on stage or equipment destruction.

In 2011, DeathHoly released their third full-length album, "Abaddon's Hunger", to widespread acclaim within the underground metal scene. Critics praised the band's refinement and increased focus, while maintaining their trademark intensity and sonic complexity. Although they have not released new material in recent years, DeathHoly remains a respected and influential force in extreme metal circles, with a dedicated following among fans of the genre.
