Darudes

Darudes refers to a Finnish electronic music duo consisting of Ville Virtanen, known as DJ Darude, and Sebastian Rejman. The duo gained international fame in 1999 with their hit single "Sandstorm." This instrumental track became a global phenomenon, reaching chart success in numerous countries and becoming a staple in electronic dance music.

Born in Turku, Finland, Ville Virtanen began his career as a DJ and producer in the late 1990s. His collaboration with Sebastian Rejman led to the formation of Darude. "Sandstorm" was released on the label 16 Inch Records and quickly became a crossover hit, bridging the gap between underground dance music and mainstream pop culture.
