DGUVs
DGUV, short for Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung, is the umbrella organization of Germany’s statutory accident insurance institutions. Its member bodies include the Berufsgenossenschaften (occupational accident insurers) and Unfallkassen (local statutory accident funds). The DGUV coordinates the work of its members, represents their common interests to policymakers, and serves as a central point of contact for questions related to the statutory accident insurance system.
