Ctrl+Shift+T is a keyboard shortcut that reopens the last closed tab or window in many software programs. The exact behavior depends on the application, but in most web browsers it restores the most recently closed tab and can be used repeatedly to restore multiple recently closed tabs in reverse order.

In web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera on Windows and Linux, pressing Ctrl+Shift+T reopens the last closed tab. If no closed tab exists, the shortcut has no effect. Some browsers also provide a history submenu with a list of Recently Closed Tabs, and the shortcut can be used in conjunction with that feature.

In many code editors and integrated development environments, the same shortcut reopens the last closed editor tab. Examples include Visual Studio Code, Sublime Text, and JetBrains IDEs. On macOS, the corresponding shortcut is typically Command+Shift+T.

The shortcut is widely supported across desktop platforms, but there are variations: some applications reserve similar keys for different actions, and some allow users to remap the shortcut. Its usefulness lies in quick recovery of work after closing a tab unintentionally or while navigating between tasks.
