Cserjeszint

Cserjeszint refers to the shrub layer within a forest ecosystem. It is the stratum of vegetation situated between the canopy (tree tops) and the forest floor. This layer is typically composed of woody plants that are smaller than trees, such as shrubs, bushes, and young trees that have not yet reached their full height.

The presence and composition of the cserjeszint are influenced by factors like light availability, soil conditions, and the overall health of the forest. In denser forests with a closed canopy, the shrub layer might be sparse due to limited sunlight reaching the lower levels.
