Conservatoire
Conservatoire is a term used for a school or college devoted to training in the performing arts, most commonly music, but also dance, theatre, and related disciplines. In French-speaking countries, a conservatoire is usually a publicly funded institution offering professional training and degree programs for musicians, singers, dancers, actors, and teachers. In English, conservatory or conservatoire refers to a similar type of institution, though the word can also denote a greenhouse or sunroom in ordinary usage.
