Componentsspeakers refer to loudspeaker systems in which the individual transducers are separated into distinct units, typically consisting of a dedicated woofer for low frequencies, a midrange driver for mid frequencies, and a tweeter for high frequencies. A crossover network divides the incoming audio signal into frequency bands and routes them to the appropriate drivers.
