CocquioTrevisago

Cocquio-Trevisago is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 11,000 and an area of 11.3 square kilometres (4.4 sq mi).

The municipality of Cocquio-Trevisago contains the hamlets (frazioni) of Trevisago and Cocquio. It is home to the Villa Reale di Mirabello, a 16th-century palace built by the Sforza family, which is now a museum. The town is also known for its annual "Festa del Cocomero" (Watermelon Festival), which attracts visitors from all over Italy.
