Cocileena
Cocileena is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to South America. The genus was first described by the French botanist Jean-Baptiste de Lamarck in 1798. Cocileena is characterized by its small, white to pinkish flowers that are arranged in clusters at the ends of the stems. The leaves are alternate, simple, and have a serrated margin. The genus is named after the French botanist and explorer Jean-Baptiste Cocileena, who collected the type specimen in 1798.
