CochraneGermany

CochraneGermany is the national arm of the Cochrane Collaboration for Germany. It coordinates the development and dissemination of evidence-based health information in German and supports the production of high-quality systematic reviews that are relevant to German-speaking populations.

The organization engages in a range of activities to promote evidence-based health care. It supports researchers and clinicians in designing, conducting, and updating systematic reviews, provides methodological training on search strategies, study selection, risk of bias assessment, and meta-analysis, and facilitates the translation and dissemination of Cochrane reviews into German. It coordinates with international Cochrane editorial and methodological groups and is guided by a local governance body, often consisting of researchers, clinicians, and methodologists who contribute to strategic planning and outreach.
