Cilialaden

Cilialaden is a term sometimes used in informal contexts to refer to the physical act of loading or packing something onto a cilium. Cilia are short, hair-like organelles found on the surface of many eukaryotic cells. They are primarily involved in movement, either moving the cell itself or moving substances across the cell surface.

The concept of something being "laden" or loaded onto cilia would typically describe a scenario where particles, pathogens, or other extracellular material have become attached to the ciliary surface. This attachment can be a prelude to their removal by ciliary action or, in some cases, a mechanism for pathogens to colonize or infect a cell.
