Chlodomer was a Frankish king and a son of King Clovis I, who ruled over the kingdom of Orléans from approximately 511 until his death in 524. He was one of the four sons of Clovis, the first king to unite the Frankish tribes under Christian rule, and was part of the Merovingian dynasty, which dominated early medieval France.
