Chimamanda
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, often known simply as Chimamanda, is a Nigerian writer and public intellectual. Born on September 15, 1977, in Enugu, Nigeria, she was raised in Nsukka and studied at the University of Nigeria before pursuing further studies in the United States. She is described as one of the most prominent African writers of her generation.
Her debut novel Purple Hibiscus (2003) received critical praise for its portrayal of a Nigerian Catholic family
