Chargecollect

Chargecollect is a term used to describe systems and methods designed to collect and accumulate electrical charge from a source for storage or immediate use. The concept is used in energy harvesting, power management, and wireless charging contexts, and can refer to devices ranging from micro-scale energy harvesters to grid-scale charge management architectures.

Mechanisms typically involve collecting charges via electrodes exposed to a source of energy, directing current through rectification or impedance matching circuits, and storing it in capacitors, supercapacitors, or batteries.
