Celâleddîni
Celâleddîni is a term that can refer to several historical and cultural figures, most notably Mawlānā Jalāl-ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, often referred to simply as Rumi. He was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic scholar, and Sufi mystic. His poetry, particularly his collection of poems called the Masnavi, is highly influential in Sufi tradition and has gained widespread international acclaim for its spiritual depth and universal themes of love, divine union, and the human condition. Rumi's teachings emphasize introspection, compassion, and the importance of experiencing the divine within oneself. His order, the Mevlevi, is known for its whirling dervishes, a form of spiritual practice.
Beyond Rumi, the name Jalal al-Din has been borne by various other notable individuals throughout Islamic history.
