Celsiusfokot is a fictional metric used in a hypothetical climate-modeling framework to quantify a system’s thermal response by combining a temperature change with a rate of heat exchange into a single scalar. It is not an officially recognized unit and does not correspond to any standard SI measurement.

The term blends Celsius, the real temperature scale, with a coined suffix "fokot" from a conceptual, fictional language intended to evoke flux and flow. The concept is designed for instructional or narrative purposes rather than empirical science.

In basic terms, a Celsiusfokot (CF) represents the integrated thermal response over a chosen time interval. A practical formulation used in some classroom simulations defines CF as the product of a temperature change and a dimensionless rate factor: CF = ΔT × r, where ΔT is the change in degrees Celsius and r is a rate factor between 0 and 1 that reflects the intensity of heat exchange in the interval. A higher CF signals a stronger combined thermal response in the modeled system. Because it is a constructed index, CF values are relative and model-specific, not a universal physical quantity.

Celsiusfokot is primarily encountered in educational contexts and speculative fiction to illustrate how temperature shifts might interact with energy flows. It has no standardized definition beyond its use as a teaching aid or narrative device, and it does not appear in formal scientific practice.
