Cartesianisan
Cartesianisan refers to a philosophical perspective strongly influenced by the ideas of René Descartes. While not a universally recognized philosophical school, the term generally describes a mindset that emphasizes reason, clear and distinct perception, and a systematic, deductive approach to knowledge. Cartesianism is characterized by its reliance on methodological doubt, where one questions all beliefs to find indubitable foundations. Descartes' famous "cogito, ergo sum" (I think, therefore I am) is a prime example of this foundational principle, asserting the certainty of one's own existence as a thinking being.
A core tenet of Cartesianisan thought is the mind-body dualism, the separation of the mental realm (res
