Cadia
Cadia is a gold mining complex in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. Located near the village of Cadia, about 25 kilometers southeast of Orange, it lies within Blayney Shire. The Cadia Valley Operations (CVO) is one of Australia’s largest active gold mines and is owned and operated by Newcrest Mining. The complex includes the Cadia-Ridgeway open-pit mine and the Cadia East underground mine, together with processing facilities at the Cadia processing plant.
