CVEer
CVEer is an informal term used in cybersecurity to describe a person who participates in the CVE ecosystem—typically someone who discovers, reports, or manages information about Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures. A CVEer can be a security researcher, an engineer at a vendor, a member of a computer emergency response team (CERT), or an employee of a security firm, and they contribute to maintaining the CVE List maintained by MITRE or through a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA).
