CTskannereissa, often referred to as CT scanners, are medical imaging devices that utilize X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the body. This technology, also known as computed tomography, allows radiologists to visualize internal organs, bones, soft tissues, and blood vessels with remarkable detail.

The process involves a rotating X-ray source and a detector array that circle around the patient. As the X-rays pass through the body, they are attenuated to varying degrees depending on the density of the tissues. The detectors capture this information, which is then processed by a computer to reconstruct detailed cross-sectional slices. Multiple slices can be combined to form three-dimensional views.

CT scanning plays a crucial role in diagnosing a wide range of conditions, including fractures, tumors, internal bleeding, infections, and cardiovascular diseases.
