CKDstadium

CKDstadium is a multi‑purpose stadium located in CKD Park, Northvale, Countryland. Opened in 2012, it serves as a major venue for football, athletics, and live events. The stadium is owned by the CKD Stadium Authority and operated by CKD Stadium Management Ltd. It has hosted domestic league matches, international friendlies, and large‑scale concerts.

With a seating capacity of about 40,000 and a hybrid grass playing surface, CKDstadium was designed to accommodate football and track and field events. The architecture, by Fresco + Holt Architects, emphasizes clear sightlines and accessible circulation, with a wide cantilevered roof sheltering the majority of seats and energy‑efficient lighting throughout the venue.

It is the home ground of CKD FC, a top‑tier football club since 2013, and has hosted national cup finals and international friendlies. The venue also includes a 400‑meter athletics track and facilities used for championships and community events. In addition, CKDstadium hosts a variety of concerts and festivals.

CKDstadium is connected by public transit, located near CKD Park Station and served by several bus routes. It offers multiple access points, dedicated bicycles and pedestrian routes, and extensive parking. The stadium incorporates sustainability measures such as LED lighting, a solar array, and rainwater harvesting for pitch irrigation.

Since opening, CKDstadium has undergone renovations in 2018 and 2022 to upgrade seating, concessions, and accessibility features, ensuring compliance with international standards for events. The venue continues to be a central hub for sport and entertainment in the region.
