Burusho
The Burusho are an ethnic group living primarily in the Hunza and Nagar valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. They inhabit high mountainous terrain in the Karakoram range and have a distinct cultural and linguistic identity. The Burusho speak Burushaski, a language isolate with no proven genetic relationship to neighboring languages; it exists alongside Urdu and other languages in daily life and has several regional dialects.
