Burgenbau is a German term that translates to "castle building" or "fortress construction." It refers to the historical process of designing, constructing, and fortifying castles and other defensive structures, primarily in medieval Europe. This endeavor was a significant undertaking, requiring extensive planning, resources, and skilled labor.
