Bukiwaza is a Japanese term that translates to "weapon techniques" and is a fundamental component of many traditional Japanese martial arts. It refers to the practice and study of martial arts that utilize weapons, as opposed to unarmed combat (which is often referred to as Taijutsu or Jujutsu).
