Brunelleschis
Brunelleschis refers to Filippo Brunelleschi and the body of work associated with him, the Florentine architect and engineer who helped define early Renaissance architecture. Born in Florence around 1377 and dying there in 1446, Brunelleschi began his career as a goldsmith before turning to architecture and engineering. He emerged as a leading innovator in Florence during the 15th century, applying classical principles of proportion, symmetry, and order to new building forms.
