Broadtarget

Broadtarget refers to a marketing or advertising strategy that aims to reach a very large and diverse audience, rather than focusing on a specific, niche demographic. This approach is characterized by its wide net, using channels and messaging that are designed to appeal to a general population. Examples of broadtarget campaigns might include national television commercials, widely distributed print ads, or online advertisements placed on popular websites with a diverse user base.

The primary objective of a broadtarget strategy is often to build brand awareness, establish widespread recognition, or introduce a new product or service to the largest possible market. It assumes that a significant portion of the general public could potentially be interested in the offering, even if the conversion rate within that broad group is lower than in a highly targeted campaign.
