Brinelltestejä
Brinelltestejä, often translated as Brinell hardness testing, is a method used to determine the hardness of a material. It involves impressing a hardened steel or carbide ball of a specific diameter into the surface of the material to be tested under a predetermined load. The load is applied for a specific duration, typically 10 to 30 seconds, before being removed.
After the indentation is made, its diameter is measured using a microscope with a calibrated scale. The
Brinell testing is suitable for materials with relatively low to medium hardness and for testing materials
