Bridei
Bridei (also written Bride) was a mid‑seventeenth‑century ruler of the Picts, a people who inhabited what is now eastern and northern Scotland. He is historically identified as Bridei III, son of Joven, and reigned from 683 to 704 AD. His ascendancy followed the death of his predecessor, Ciniod, during a period of continuous conflict with Anglo-Saxon Northumbria.
