Bregendal

Bregendal is a municipality in the northern part of the country of Valoria. It sits along the Bregen River and serves as a local administrative center for surrounding rural communities. The municipality had an estimated population of 9,800 in 2022.

Bregendal is first mentioned in 12th-century records, and its name is believed to derive from a bridge that crossed the Bregen River. It developed as a market town on medieval trade routes and gained greater growth after a railway line arrived in 1897.
