Brakyterapiaksi

Brakyterapiaksi is a Finnish term that translates to "brachytherapy" in English. Brachytherapy is a form of radiation therapy used to treat cancer. In this technique, radioactive sources are placed directly inside or very close to the tumor. This allows for a high dose of radiation to be delivered to the cancerous cells while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
