Bobleprøver

Bobleprøver, often translated as "bubble tests" or "bubble leak tests," are a common method for detecting leaks in sealed or enclosed systems. This technique relies on the principle that escaping gas will form visible bubbles when the system is submerged in a liquid.

The process involves pressurizing the object or system to be tested. This internal pressure forces any gas that might leak out. Once pressurized, the object is then submerged into a bath of liquid, typically water. If there are any breaches in the seal, the escaping gas will travel through the opening and rise to the surface of the liquid in the form of bubbles. The location and frequency of these bubbles indicate the presence and severity of the leak.

Bobleprøver are widely used across various industries. They are commonly employed in the testing of manufactured goods such as automotive parts, electronic enclosures, medical devices, and packaging. The simplicity and effectiveness of the method make it a practical choice for both quality control during production and for troubleshooting existing systems.
