Leukemias and lymphomas are cancers of the blood and lymphatic system, respectively, involving abnormal white blood cell production. Thrombotic disorders, conversely, involve the formation of abnormal blood clots.

Treatment approaches depend on the specific disorder and can range from lifestyle modifications and medications to blood transfusions, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or bone marrow transplantation.
