Blåtonerna

Blåtonerna is a Swedish musical collective formed in Gothenburg in 2012, known for its ambient‑rock sound that blends post‑rock structures with elements of folk and electronic music. The founding members—guitarists Erik Andersson and Lina Holm, bassist Jonas Nilsson, drummer Sofia Berg and keyboardist Mikael Sjöberg—met while studying at the Academy of Music and Drama and began rehearsing in a small rehearsal studio in the Haga district. Their name, meaning “the blue tones,” reflects an aesthetic focus on atmospheric textures and melancholic melodies.
