Blynken

Blynken is a character from the popular Dutch children's poem "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod" by Mary Mapes Dodge. The poem, first published in 1869, describes the adventures of three little sailors in a wooden shoe sailing across the sea in a dream. Blynken is the second of the three characters, often depicted as the middle child in imagery associated with the poem.
