Bildsensorelement
A Bildsensorelement, or image sensor element, is the fundamental component within a digital camera or imaging device responsible for capturing light and converting it into an electrical signal. This signal is then processed to form a digital image. Typically, an image sensor is comprised of a grid of tiny light-sensitive units. These units can be photodiodes or photoelectric transistors. When light photons strike these elements, they generate an electrical charge. The intensity of the light determines the magnitude of the charge produced. Each element in the grid corresponds to a single pixel in the final image.
There are two primary types of image sensors: CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) and CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor). CCD
