Bergmanräume
Bergmannräume are spaces within mining installations designed to accommodate miners during or after work shifts. The term derives from the German Bergmann (miner) and Raum (room). They historically served as welfare-oriented spaces where workers could rest, eat, change clothes, and receive briefings or medical attention between or after shifts.
