Beiaard
Beiaard is a term that refers to a carillon, a musical instrument consisting of a set of tuned bells arranged in such a way that the player can produce a melody by striking them with a keyboard. These bells are typically hung in a tower or belfry. The player, known as a carillonneur, uses a keyboard with wooden levers (batons) for the hands and pedals for the feet to strike the clappers of the bells.
