Basquespecific

Basquespecific is an adjective used to designate content, practices, data, or analysis that is tailored to or concerned with Basque people, the Basque language (Euskara), or the Basque territories. The term is not widely standardized and is typically used in descriptive or technical writing to distinguish Basque-specific context from more general approaches.

In linguistics and language technology, Basquespecific resources refer to datasets, software localization, and NLP models adapted to Euskara, including recognition of dialectal variation (such as Biscayan and Gipuzkoan) and the standardized form Batua. Basquespecific orthographic rules, morphology, and syntax are considered when developing tools such as spell checkers, tokenizers, or text analyzers for Basque texts.
