Barringerkrateret
Barringerkrateret, also known as Meteor Crater, is a well-preserved meteorite impact structure located near Winslow, Arizona, United States. It is approximately 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles) in diameter and 170 meters (560 feet) deep. The crater was formed about 50,000 years ago by the impact of a large iron-nickel meteorite, estimated to have been about 50 meters (160 feet) in diameter.
