Bargebu is a fictional coastal town that serves as the administrative center of Barge County in the archipelago of Lormia, within the hypothetical nation of Veridia. The name is derived from Old Veridian words referring to a harbor where barges dock.

The town lies at the mouth of the Barge River, facing the Veridian Sea. It is sheltered by a rocky headland and features a tidal estuary that supports local fishing fleets. The climate is temperate maritime, with mild winters and cool summers.

Bargebu was founded in the 12th century as a trading post and grew as a maritime crossroads. In the Middle Ages it changed hands among rival city-states before receiving a municipal charter in 1492.
